Bent Diagonal Sudoku 2014 - 2

And Another Bent Diagonal sudoku today.

Rules of Classic Sudoku apply. Additionally, there are 4 Bent Diagonals marked in the grid. Digits cannot repeat on any of the Bent Diagonals.

Mirror Sudoku 2014 - 1

Continuing my tryst with newer variants, today we have a mirror sudoku.

Rules of Classic Sudoku apply. Additionally, Boxes 1 and 9 are mirror images of each other. Similarly boxes 3 and 7 are mirror images of each other.

3D Sudoku 2014 - 1

Today is a 3D sudoku for the Daily League. It has been nearly a year since I have posted in the Daily League. So here is hoping that it is well received.

Place a number from 1-8 in each cell such that each generalised row and marked 8-cell box contains each number once. Note that generalised rows pass through parallel edges of adjacent cells.

Bent Diagonal 2014 - 1

Another new variation that I tried yesterday. This is a Bent Diagonal Sudoku. I am actually starting to enjoy creating newer variations which I have not done before.

Rules of Classic Sudoku apply. Additionally, there are 4 Bent Diagonals marked in the grid. Digits cannot repeat on any of the Bent Diagonals.

Star Sudoku 2014 - 1

Today I tried my hand at a Star Sudoku. This is also of easy-medium difficulty.

Put the numbers 1 through 9 into the triangular cells so that each of 6 large triangles and every line (of any length, even uncontinuous) contains every digit not more than once. Some lines may contain less than 9 digits.

Fortress Sudoku 2014 - 1

I have decided to dabble in variants that I have not created before. So today we deal with a Fortress Sudoku. It is of an easy-medium difficulty level.

There is a Fortress marked by grey cells in the grid. Place numbers in the grid such that each row, column and 3x3 box contain the numbers 1 to 9. If a shaded cell and a white cell are orthogonally adjacent then the shaded cell has the greater value.

Sudoku-Kurve 2014 - 1

Came back from an average WSC... Highs were India finishing at the best ever position of 6th in the team event. Personally a good showing in the GP playoffs. More about that later.

Came home and decided to try my hand at Sudo-Kurve.

Standard Sudoku rules (insert a number in the indicated range into each cell so that no number repeats in any “row” or bold region). Some “rows” bend as indicated by following the curved lines.
