Wordoku 2014 - 1

It has been a really long time since I posted a puzzle and I finally decided to start creating some for practice before the WSC. Though some of the puzzles that I will be posting might not feature in the WSC these are more for general practice for people. Since TSC in India does have a Wordoku in it(assuming same variants as last year appear), I thought better to start of with a Wordoku which uses "SUDOKUMANIA", eliminating repeated letters.

So here is to happy solving and hoping I am able to post more frequently.

Non Main Diagonals Sudoku 2013 - 1

Today we will try out another sudoku which will be appearing in the 8th World Sudoku Championship which is scheduled for next week.

This is a Non Main Diagonal Sudoku. Rules of Classic Sudoku apply. Additionally digits do not repeat on any of the marked diagonals.

ISO Sudoku 2013 - 1

Today I have created an Iso Sudoku as a practice puzzle for the upcoming World Championships. This is definitely a hard puzzle.

Fill in the grid so that every row, column, and 3×3 box contains the digits 1 through 9. Digits do not repeat along any of the three directions in which the hexagonal cells share edges.

Pyramid Sudoku 2013 - 1

Today we will have a puzzle from the WSC 2013 IB. This is a pyramid sudoku, It is nothing but an extension of an Extra region sudoku.

Rules of Classic Sudoku apply. Additionally regions marked in grey contain digits 1 to 9 without any repetition.

Arrow Sudoku 2013 - 1

As promised we have an arrow sudoku today. This is the first Arrow Sudoku that I am posting on the blog and thanks to PS for reminding me that I had never done an arrow sudoku before. This is of medium difficulty and not too tricky, well not too obvious either and i wanted to maintain the symmetry of the givens too.

Rules of Classic Sudoku apply. Additionally digits in the circle are equal to the sum of the digits along the arrow from it. Digits may repeat on an arrow.
